https://magazine.mdpu.org.ua/index.php/nv/article/view/3302

The article investigates the problem of organizing social support. The structure is examined, and the algorithm for identifying such families is revealed. A social worker requires interagency cooperation, forming a team in each individual case from representatives of various executive authorities, local self-government, and the public to address the client's key issues. The need has arisen to form and implement new approaches to social support. The theoretical and practical significance lies in the fact that the levels of solving social problems of families have been identified and recommendations for organizing social support for families have been provided. In the future, it is necessary to form and ensure the implementation of a new comprehensive concept for reforming the public administration system in the field of social protection of the population of Ukraine and child protection. Social accompaniment is the cornerstone of social assistance in Ukraine, providing essential support to families facing challenges. However, the lack of clear and specific regulations hampers effective collaboration between the government and civil society, hindering access to services for vulnerable families. The government's data portal highlights the need for improvements in the system, as evidenced by the statistics on “eDopomoga” usage. Involvement of public organizations and volunteers expands the possibilities of social services and allows providing more complex services. In 2022, the government reduced unemployment benefits to stimulate job hunting. Employment centers provide such assistance and contribute to increasing the level of employed persons in Ukraine, providing a chance to receive a higher education with a voucher. In this way, the employment center can become a key point of support for families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, offering them support that leads to the restoration of their economic stability and confidence in the future. This not only helps individual families to overcome difficulties, but also contributes to the general increase in the well-being and sustainability of society.
Batareina Iryna, Chyzhykova Hanna

https://magazine.mdpu.org.ua/index.php/nv/article/view/3303

The article deals with socio-political and pedagogical preconditions of education communities in Ukraine as centers of formation of creative intellectuals (late 19th century). Activities of education societies of the late XIX is a whole era in the development of history of education and culture of Ukraine as a whole. Their work in the field of education has gained public appeal joining the General process of national revival. Progressive Ukrainian intelligentsia, working in societies, awakened the national consciousness, laid the foundations of education. The emergence and activities of various public organizations in Ukraine in the late XIX is a phenomenon that has not only cultural and educational impact, but educational in nature as one of their main objectives was to change the content and quality of education of Ukrainian people. Through the analysis of historical and pedagogical sources, we have found that the end of the 19th century became for Ukrainians in Dnieper Ukraine the period of confrontation with the authorities for the preservation of national culture. Changes in the Russian Empire began a strong push for a national awakening and intensification of national consciousness of the intelligentsia in the Ukrainian provinces. Seeing their duty in the development of national culture, Ukrainian intelligentsia begins to separate education direction. For the first time in the history pedagogical problems are widely discussed by the public, they become the subject of public initiatives, the country's life is enriched on a new phenomenon – public-education movement. The mass of participants of the education movement of the Ukrainian intelligentsia in cities leads to the logical replacement of individual cultural work by the activities of the whole associations, communities. In communities, the formation of future leaders of the enlightenment movement took place: teachers, scientists, doctors, which gradually turned into national figures. The hromadamen later became members of many education organizations. Many representatives of the Ukrainian intelligentsia paved the way for the emergence in the arena of public awareness initiatives at the national (Ukrainian) organizations (societies). Thus, the nineteenth century was a time of struggle for Ukrainians for the preservation of their own language, education and culture. The end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century for the Ukrainian people is a period of national revival, self[1]reflection as an ethnic group, as an authentic individual in history and the modern world.
Bunchuk Oksana, Maretska Yuliia, Tabler Tetiana

https://magazine.mdpu.org.ua/index.php/nv/article/view/3310

The modern educational environment requires ethical leaders who can not only effectively manage education institutions but also shape value orientations for youth upbringing. Ethical leadership is a crucial factor in increasing trust between teachers and students, fostering a healthy moral climate, and ensuring fairness in decision-making processes. However, in the context of globalization and sociocultural changes, a crisis of moral guidelines complicates the development of ethical leadership. An analysis of recent studies in Ukraine and abroad confirms the fundamental role of moral values in the formation of ethical leadership. This article examines the main approaches to studying morality and ethical leadership, including philosophical, psychological, sociological, and pedagogical perspectives. Special attention is given to ethical leadership concepts such as transformational, servant, and values-based leadership. The key moral values that should be integrated into the educational leadership training system – honesty, fairness, responsibility, humanism, professional ethics, and social responsibility – are identified. Practical approaches to fostering ethical leadership are proposed, including interactive teaching methods, mentorship programs, the development of ethical codes, the introduction of ethical leadership courses, the establishment of professional communities, and ethical training programs for educational administrators. The key challenges associated with implementing ethical standards in education management are outlined, including insufficient regulatory frameworks, a lack of motivation for moral self-development, and the absence of unified standards for assessing ethical competence among education leaders. The article also highlights future research directions, such as enhancing the practical training of future leaders, expanding international cooperation, developing a national strategy for ethical leadership in education, and implementing digital tools for assessing the moral competencies.
Tereshchenko Svitlana
