Improvement of students’ research activities under conditions of information technologies application.

Abstract

The authors determined and substantiated modern possibilities of improving the quality of students’ research activities under conditions of active use of modern information tools and resources. It has been found out that information computer technologies, provided their proper use, reveal broad opportunities for intensification of educational and scientific processes, providing creative and research direction for students’ cognitive activity. The attention is accentuated that the future specialist, regardless of the field of study, is not just to gain knowledge about the possibilities of information technologies to replenish and update the knowledge, he has to be formed in technologically advanced environment of the educational institution as a specialist capable of innovative activity.
