Analysis of the discipline "Іntroduction to the specialty" in professional training of software engineers.
Abstract
Based on teaching experience of "Introduction to specialty" the author of the article concludes that it requires a thorough analysis of the content, the development of a new learning paradigm and verification of its effectiveness. It is proposed to update the purpose and objectives of this discipline, knowledge, skills and competences, which future software engineers should master in the course of its development; use as a learning tool Codecademy interactive online environment; the contents of two modules, the first of which is devoted to the issues of programming and preparation for the development of future professional activity, and the second – the organization of scientific research in the field of information technology and programming. As a result of testing of the modified content of the discipline, the conclusion has been made of the feasibility of innovations and correction process of teaching the discipline to study the professional vocabulary in English.Downloads
