Problem of homelessness - some of the chosen existential aspects.

Abstract

Existence among those who are suffering from poverty in the context of the issues of global world existence and a human functioning becomes the subject of undertaken deliberations in the article. All arguments and thoughts were based on survey results conducted among a population of homeless men. The main aspect of the study was to find the answer to the question how does an individual, who is at the same time a homeless person, perceive himself and surrounding reality, what attitudes he reveals towards such values as: life, work, social and family bonds. Moreover, the study was aimed at evaluating the issue of self- acceptance, consciousness of alienating and anomy, motivation and attitudes but also including the sphere of identity and emotional balance.
