Abstract

Basic approaches to understanding the concept of sympathy and similar moral values among young people are characterized in the article. Basic ideas of Ukrainian teachers of the second half of the twentieth century in the education of humanistic values among young generation are systematized. We characterize basic educational principles for sympathy and tolerance up-bringing in children’s public organizations of the second half of the twentieth century and emphasize the importance of their use in modern teaching practice. Prospects of their creative use in humanistic qualities education under modern conditions of society development have been determined.
