Adaptation of young children to the conditions of preschool educational institution.

Abstract

The article presents the data of a pedagogical experiment on the organization of the adaptation period for young children to the conditions of a pre-school educational institution. Accompanying the process of children's adaptation consisted of working with children, teachers and parents. It has been determined that the process of young children's adaptation to a pre-school educational institution depends on the psychophysiological and personal characteristics of a child, on family relationships, on the conditions of his/her stay in a pre-school institution. To effectively guide the process of adapting children to the conditions of preschool institutions, a well-thought-out system of pedagogical actions is needed, creating an emotionally favorable atmosphere in the group, the formation of a feeling of confidence in the surrounding, positive relationships among children. In the adaptation of children, the following main directions are singled out: the reduction of the emotional and stressful impact due to the correct preparation of children for admission to the preschool institution and the organization of their life, the period of adaptation, the prediction and timely diagnosis of the initial forms of disadaptation, their prevention and early correction.
