Abstract
The article substantiates the feasibility of multimedia technologies in the educational process in higher educational establishments. The types of multimedia used in the learning process during the future professionals training are determined. The advantages of multimedia over the other educational technologies are revealed. The basic uses of multimedia presentations, electronic reports, and multimedia reports in the professional training of specialists are highlighted.
