Teaching English monologic persuasive speaking to intending philologists: approaches, methods and means.
Abstract
The article deals with the current approaches to teaching English as a foreign language. It defines the competency-based approach as well as communicative and action-oriented approach as the key approaches to teaching English persuasive speaking to intending philologists. The teaching methods and means are applied to teach the effective use of persuasive strategy and techniques in the students’ monologic speech.Downloads
