Abstract

The current problem of modern pedagogical theory and practice is the processes of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports for rehabilitation work with children with limited physical abilities in higher education. The increased attention to this issue by a large number of teachers, psychologists, and sociologists is due to the fact that children with limited physical abilities in a modern democratic society do not have the right to remain on the verge of socio-cultural processes, systems of human relationships and values. These children have the same rights as those who are healthy: they must fully study, get general education and benefit society in future.

Democratic development of society, social policy of Ukraine requires the transition to a new type of humanistic-innovative physical education, which is carried out on the basis of the introduction of new content, forms, methods of training, improving the quality of vocational training, the development of professionally relevant qualities of the future specialist in physical education, meeting the requirements of modern rehabilitation work with children.

The study of the indicators of reflexive and professional criteria for the future bachelor's degree from physical education to rehabilitation work with children with disabilities was carried out in 12 higher education institutions of Ukraine. The educational process in the experimental groups was organized with the introduction of the "Program of training of specialists in physical education and sports for rehabilitation work with children with disabilities". Differences in the studied groups depended on the conditions of conducting, presented in the general training program of specialists in this area of training. The lessons from the experimental "Program for the training of specialists in physical education for rehabilitation work with children with disabilities" in the study groups were conducted according to the working curriculum of the experimental program in the amount of 24 hours per week. Students of control groups were trained in accordance with the comprehensive curriculum for the training of specialists in physical rehabilitation of a higher education institution. The experiment was based on generally accepted principles and methods of training.

As a result of our research, we discovered the most influential training program. In terms of educational readiness, students at the beginning of the pedagogical experiment did not differ from each other (P <0.05). Training sessions were conducted in parallel in experimental groups according to the experimental program of training of specialists in physical education for rehabilitation work and in control groups according to the schedule of ordinary working curricula of a higher education institution with an average of 22.5 hours per week.

The conducted studies suggest that the introduction of an experimental "Program for the training of specialists in physical education for rehabilitation work with children with disabilities" in the educational process of future bachelors of physical education for rehabilitation work with children with disabilities significantly affects the level of their preparation for professional activities.
