Special aspects of bachelors of statistics training.
Abstract
In this article the problem of reforming education, in particular, the higher education, and the importance of this process in general for future specialists training is considered. A review of Ukrainian experience on training specialists in statistics was conducted. It is noted that bachelors of statistics training is carried out on the basis of a number of normative legal documents. As an example, the educational-professional programs of bachelors of statistics preparation are considered, on the basis of which the purpose, goals and tasks of vocational training are defined. The peculiarities of the preparation of this specialty and the specifics of the key features of future specialists are described. The cycle of general training, and the cycle of professional training, is described in detail. The content of normative and invariant parts is considered. The list of academic disciplines for the self-selection of both the university and students is presented. The requirements for graduates of the mentioned direction in the form of a list of competencies are indicated. The necessity of transition to new technologies in education, in particular clouds, which promote the quality of education, updating the content and forms of organization of the educational process, life-long learning and the introduction of educational innovations is revealed. The assumption about effective formation of professional competencies within the discipline “Computer statistics” with the use of cloud computing is stated.
