Pedagogical Сonditions of the Formation of Future Teachers’ Professional Identity.

Abstract

. In the context of reformation of the education of Ukraine, the requirements for the identity of the modern teacher are growing significantly. These changes are required, at the stage of professional training, to shape the personality of future teachers, to develop in them professionally significant qualities, creative potential, professional selfrealization. That is why the development of his / her professional identity, which is closely related to the issues of professional self-determination and personal development, becomes especially valuable in the structure of the future teacher's personality. For the future teacher, the formation of a professional identity is an extremely important factor in his/her successful professional activity, professional growth and professional development. The article is devoted to the problems of professional formation of future teachers in the course of professional training. The article reveals the essence of the concept of "professional identity". According to the results of theoretical analysis, it is determined that professional identity is a dynamic system that is formed in the process of professional education and active development of professional competence. Scholars emphasize that professional identity is a part of personal identity. In the professional development of the teacher, professional identity occupies a central place, which is a result of the awareness of one's identity with one's professional activity and community, confidence in one's effectiveness, feeling of being a professional. The professional identification of the teacher is an integral part of the professional consciousness of the individual. The author describes the main forms of professional identification: contrast-positive form, contrast-negative form, perspective-positive form, perspective-negative form and intermediate form. The professional identity of the teacher is regarded as an integral characteristic of the individual. The criteria of formation of professional identity of the teacher are cognitive, evaluation, value and connective criteria. The process of formation of professional identity of students-future educators has three main stages: primary choice of profession, confirmation or denial of primary choice, realization of primary choice in professional activity. A necessary condition for the development of a teacher's professional identity is the teacher's personality, personal and professional potential, as well as the specific knowledge and skills required for a particular activity. The period of study at a higher education institution is a very important step in the process of formation of the professional identity of future teachers.
