Experience in the implementation of competent and personality-oriented approaches to teaching syntax in the conditions of formation of the New Ukrainian School
Abstract
The article deals with the implementation of a competency and personality-oriented approach to teaching at the level of syntax through the qualified training of studentsphilologists; analysis of works on linguistics and techniques of teaching syntax is provided; purposes and objectives of such training under the conditions of higher and secondary educational institutions reforming are systematized; analysis of the modern curriculum and textbooks “The Ukrainian (native) language” based on the competency and personality-oriented approach to teaching or training syntax is provided; it is proposed to consider proper stylistic tasks or exercises according to the levels of complexity: standard, academic and proficiency; the conclusions on the implementation of the concept of the New Ukrainian School at the lessons of syntax in secondary school as well as at university classes are made.
