Professional thinking of a musician in the conditions of transformation of the system of higher musical education

Abstract

The article substantiates the need to transform university training of students on the basis of the introduction of mechanisms of self-critical activity in the process of forming professional thinking of future musicians. Proceeding from this, the musician’s professional thinking is presented as a system of generalized mental actions aimed at studying the holistic process of development of musical art in the course of its self-critical activity.
