Specificity of professional self-determination of future specialists in socionomic professions

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the scientific
exploration of the specifics of
professional self-determination of future
socionomic specialists. In modern
social, economic and political
transformations, the government pays
great attention to professional training
of socionomic professions. Reforming
the higher education system leads to a
full review of both the content of
educational programs and the
educational environment as a whole.
The analysis of the scientific literature
gave reasons to assert that professional
self-determination is activated not only
at the stage of optation, but also at later
stages of professionalization of the
individual, including the learning
process. The specifics of professional
self-determination of future specialists
in socionomic professions are
investigated, which allowed revealing
new reserves of efficiency of their
training. The basic characteristic of the
personality of the future specialist in
socionomic professions is established -
prosocial activity of the personality,
which originates in everyday life, but is
successfully transformed into a
professional activity through a set of
motives. To study the individual
psychological characteristics of future
specialists in socionomic professions,
the Multifactorial personality method by
R. Kettell (16PF - questionnaire) and the
method of M. Rokych "Value
Orientations" were used.
