Theoretical analysis of the essence of the concept of «moral stability of a future officer»
Abstract
The article reveals the theoretical
aspects related to the definition of the
concept of "moral stability of the future
officer". Based on the analysis of
dictionaries, scientific sources, the
meaning of the basic concepts
"morality", "moral", "moral stability" has
been clarified, which in the future will
serve to develop the basic theoretical
provisions for the development of moral
stability of a future officer as a leader.
The characteristic features of a morally
stable personality are determined, in
particular, such qualities as endurance,
strength, resilience, invincibility, the
ability to resist manifestations of
immorality, etc. are noted. For the
purpose of high-quality training of
military reserves, it was noted the need
to pay attention not only to updating the
educational process of future officers of
the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also
to the development of the moral
qualities of an officer-leader in
accordance with NATO standards and
norms. The interdisciplinarity of the
concept under consideration
(philosophy, political science,
psychology, pedagogy, military
psychology, military education, etc.) is
determined.
The main position of future officers is
emphasized - the acquisition of military
identity, today it is being developed
according to the theory of social
identity, the expansion of the role of the
military in society is noted, which is
directly dependent on various
psychosocial processes, such as
attitudes and beliefs about military
service, military morale, attitude to rally
military teams.
It has been proved that the moral
stability of a future officer should be
perceived as a personality trait that
identifies itself in the future as a leader
of military personnel. It is noted that this
feature is formed in the process of
rallying future officers, it is perceived as
an absolute value for maintaining the
morale of personnel. On the other
hand, this trait can be perceived as an
integral system with appropriate
components, such as moral motivation,
moral judgments, moral competence,
moral actions, the ability to make moral
decisions in extreme conditions.
