The formation of choreographic culture of creative personality by means of classical dance

Abstract

In the article it is investigated the content of the formation of creative personality’s choreographic culture of future choreographers by means of classical dance. After analyzing the scientific and methodological literature, the meaning of the concept «choreographic culture of creative personality» is clarified, which involves the process of general choreographic training: the development of creative abilities and performance of choreographic art. The analysis of theoretical works of domestic and foreign scientists shows that teaching classical dance to future professionals is one of the most important and necessary means in the formation of choreographic art of creative personality. Taking into account the system of general art functions, the functions of the studied phenomenon in the unity of creative, suggestive, hedonistic and performing functions are determined. In the course of the research it is identified scientific and methodological approaches in the educational process: 1) axiological approach, which involves the creation of moral and aesthetic values and artistic traditions of choreographic education; 2) culturological approach, which provides coverage of Ukrainian choreographic art, that influenced the performance of outstanding choreographers, contributes to the content of artistic and pedagogical activities of future specialists; 3) cognitive approach, which affects choreographic skills and abilities formation, as well as adequate selfesteem and behavior of the creative personality; 4) innovative approach, which involves the non-traditional use of forms, methods and techniques in the educational process; 5) activity approach, which creates a focus on the organization of the future choreographer’s professional training for successful practical activity, as well as self-education and self-realization of the personality’s creative activity. Summarizing the results of the research, a conclusion is made that the formation of choreographic culture of creative personalities by means of classical dance is a kind of process forming the future choreographers’ professional knowledge, skills, abilities through special plastic exercises.
