Modern approaches to health-preserving educational technologies

Abstract

The article substantiates modern approaches to health-preserving and health-forming technologies – development and implementation of complex conditions of education and training, which allow to preserve the health of the younger generation, to form a higher level of their health and healthy lifestyle skills, to monitor indicators of individual development, to predict possible changes in health and to carry out appropriate psychological and pedagogical, corrective, rehabilitation measures to ensure the success of educational activities and its minimum physiological “value”, improving the quality of life of the subjects of the educational environment. The classifications of current healthpreserving educational technologies are analyzed, which makes it possible to distinguish the following types of technologies: healthpreserving, health-improving technologies, technologies of health education, health culture education. We have developed, tested and implemented in the educational process of Mariupol State University the bioenergy health-preserving educational technology, which involves the use of energy from natural objects (plants, animals, inanimate objects) to improve and relax the younger generation. Of course, any pedagogical technology must be health preserving. Thus, health-preserving educational technologies include technologies the use of which in the educational process benefits the individual. These are techniques, methods that do not harm the health of students and teachers, create a safe environment for them to stay, study and work in the educational institution; technologies based on the age characteristics of students' cognitive activity, the optimal combination of motor and static motivations for learning, cultivating knowledge on health issues, loads, creating an emotionally favorable atmosphere.
