The main factors of educational work on the formation of moral stability of future officers

Abstract

The article presents the factors that should be taken into account in conducting educational work with future officers of the Naval Forces during their internship (practice) on ships. The issues of moral stability of servicemen are considered, it is proved that this issue is presented in the philosophical, legal, pedagogical and psychological literature. A separate place in the study of this issue belongs to military pedagogy and psychology, which indicates the interdisciplinarity of the problem raised. It has been proven that this issue is specific for future officers, since during practice they are already in extreme situations. The examples of moral dilemmas that can be faced by military personnel during military operations and humanitarian missions are shown. The author emphasizes that in the practical training of cadets, one should reveal leadership qualities, the requirements for leaders, increase the amount of knowledge in the field of moral and psychological training, and build confidence. It has been proven that such work is necessary for the implementation of future professional activities, for the performance of tasks in a dynamic and complex environment, which is deteriorated as a result of difficult hydro meteorological conditions. The author notes the importance of embodying moral principles in the educational process of higher military educational institutions, because if the cadets cannot develop moral stability, it will become impossible to ensure reliable defense of the people of Ukraine. The article notes that a morally exhausted person is not able to quickly respond to various situations that arise in extreme situations. We concluded that in the future there will be a need to develop and experimentally test a special pedagogical system for developing the moral stability of future officers who in the future will lead military operations and carry out military service in difficult sea conditions. The article points to important examples of accidents that always exist at sea, it is emphasized that it is the human factor that can become the main reason for violating the safety of human life – both for an individual and for the entire crew.
