Professional training of future physical education teachers to work at the New Ukrainian School

Abstract

One of the important problems of higher education in Ukraine is improving the professional training of teachers, in particular, future teachers of physical education. The health condition and level of physical development of the young generation depends on the quality of their training. Solving this problem is impossible without modernization of the educational process in higher education, professional training taking into account modern trends in improving the educational process in institutions of general secondary education. The analysis of the problem proved that the preparation of future physical culture teachers for professional activity is a process that includes training, upbringing and development and reflects the specifics of professional training at the level of mastering the system of knowledge, abilities, skills and personality formation of the future physical culture teacher, which allows a deep understanding of the task of physical education of students, to consistently solve complex educational situations that arise in physical culture lessons, to forecast and model physical culture and health and sports and mass work in educational institutions. It was concluded that the system of training of future physical culture teachers in higher education institutions is aimed at forming a specialist capable of organizing physical education of schoolchildren of different age groups, taking into account their interests in various sports on the basis of differentiated and integrative approaches.
