Problem of schoolchildren’s engagement in music-making in the field of popular genres in theory and practice of music education.
Abstract
The theoretical analysis of the terminology field, related to clarification of the concept “Popular vocal music” is carried out in the article. The style directions of vocal music of popular genres are determined and described. The author studies artistic features of popular vocal music and analyzes scientific-methodical approaches to the problem of schoolchildren’s engagement in the field of popular genres with due regard to various aspects.
