Ideas of humanistic psychology as an element of anthropological and pedagogical foundations of the humanization of education.

Abstract

The humanistic approach, which dominates in humanitarian and social sciences, determines the direction of research in educational anthropology. Being an integrating core element of the pedagogy, it deals with the problems of the humanization of education. Such kind of research was started by A. Maslow, K. Rogers, V. Frankl and other representatives of humanistic psychology, who studied the phenomenon of self-actualization and self-transcendence, the problems of the person’s support in the sphere of self-development, self-improvement and self-realization, the organization of meaningful learning facilitation, etc. That’s why the scientific heritage of the humanist psychologists is vital for the national educational anthropology. Simultaneously, the humanistic psychology stands for an element of anthropologic-pedagogical base of pedagogy.
