Organization of independent work for engineers-programmers by means of distance technologies on discipline «Admi-nistration of computer networks».
Abstract
The article deals with some basic features and advantages of distance learning over traditional one. Having taken into consideration the potential of distance learning for the organization of independent work, there has been developed a distance learning course on the subject “Administration of computer networks”. Introduction of this course should have a positive impact on the understanding of technical terms, search, analysis and systematization of the material, the level of self-organization of students, which in turn will improve the quality of vocational skills, knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and support of the network infrastructure by future software engineers.
