Features of intensive technologies introduction into the training of professionals in the field of tourism.

Abstract

The article highlights the problem of the use of intensive technologies in the process of training specialists in the field of tourism. It is proved that training that uses traditional technologies does not allow students to develop key, basic competences in a particular discipline. It is noted that the so-called meta-skills which can develop only in the process of the intensive technologies use are an instrument of the generative learning, as they allow you to control the basic skills under unforeseen circum-stances. There has been defined the range of abilities, which ensure the manifestation of meta-skills. The author gives examples of use of interactive methods of teaching which represent the basis of a number of tasks built on intensive technologies.
