Christian ethics in the process of establishing a system of spiritual and moral education of young people in Northern Azov region.

Abstract

The paper presents the basic ideas concerning the formation of spiritual and moral education of young people on the territory of Northern Azov. The author reveals the historical documents, quotes and thoughts of church historians of the past centuries and modern scholars of church history. The author presents the historical facts that reveal the general state of spiritual and moral education of young people in the province. Particular importance in the article is devoted to the analysis of subjects taught in Katerynoslavs’ka seminary  and to the difficulties faced by the students at the seminary studying moral theology and moral philosophy.
