The features of creative activity manifestation in senior preschool children.

Abstract

In the article the authors study the features of creative activity manifestation in senior preschool children with reference to various scientific approaches. The authors emphasize that a child’s development is an active process of his own identity’s individual creation. The development of children’s creativity can be properly understood only in the light of the general theory of the mankind’s mental development. The development of a child does not occur in isolation, but it is revealed in the space of that culture, where the birth and evolution of the child’s personality took place. It is mentioned that creativity can be realized not only in the new final objective product, but also in the individual child’s creation of his own relationship with the world, transformation of the environment and himself in this environment. Assimilating the universal spiritual wealth, the child is involved in different activities (games, education, productive and speaking activities), processes and creatively reinterprets this historic treasure. This is the way in which a picture of his objective world is formed. The features of personal, mental and social development of preschool children, which are realized through the originality of the methods and forms of knowledge, are defined.
