Influence of Ukrainian spiritual music on the process of senior teens' value orientations formation

Abstract

Modern researchers in various scientific fields are working on the problem concerning formation of youth's value orientations. The need of the individual whose life strategies and value orientations are aimed at implementation of tolerance and humanism principles, preservation of national spiritual values becomes urgent nowadays. In this regard, education should fulfill its cultural and historic mission – to educate a person who will guide his activities towards the progressive development of society, its spiritual and aesthetic development. Appeal to the spiritual heritage of the nation, among which there is the Ukrainian Sacred Music, is closely linked to the problem of forming teenagers' value orientations. The article reveals the peculiarities of forming senior teens' value orientations; the influence of Ukrainian spiritual music on this process is defined.
