Personal professional approach to preparation future teachers of biology in conditions of the implementation of the concept of the new Ukrainian school.

Abstract

The article examines the issues of
professional training of future biology
teachers taking into account the personal
qualities of students, using an activity
and competence approach. When
teaching the discipline "Methodology of
teaching biology and natural science" in
the structure of professional competence
of the future teacher of biology, we
distinguish the following components:
vocational cognitive (generalpedagogical,
general psychological and
general-professional competencies),
professional-activity (special
competences), professional-personal
(personality characteristics of the
student, his general and special abilities).
The growth of professionalism of future
specialists in various fields of biology we
see in the development and application
of theoretical and methodological
opportunities for the formation of valuesemantic
and motivational-volitional
readiness for professional-practical
activity on the basis of the humanistic
approach. The main strategic direction of
the development of the biological
education system lies in the area of
solving the problems of student and
teacher development, technological
development of this process, in the
development and testing of the
theoretical model and technological
algorithm for the training of highly skilled
biologists.
