Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of
teaching the subjects of the social and
humanitarian cycle in higher education and
their place in the system of professional
training of students in agrarian universities.
The most acute problems of teaching social
and humanitarian disciplines in agrarian
educational institutions are analyzed. The
peculiarities of the use of interactive training
technologies at seminars on social and
humanitarian disciplines are described.
Particular attention is paid to the analysis of
teaching methods in discussion, learning in
the game, case-method, the conditions for
their effective use and the experience of
combining with traditional methods of
training. The emphasis is put on rethinking
the experience of professional training of
the future agrarian and analyzing it from the
standpoint of humanizing the learning
process, which involves a qualitative
change of priorities.
