A retrospective of the formation of public organizations in the USA associated with the formation of health care competences of the adult population
Abstract
The article examines an important aspect of modern pedagogy,
namely the influence of public organizations on the formation of
health-saving competencies, using the example of work with the adult
population in the United States of America. The retrospective of
organizations promoting health and raising the level of health
awareness among citizens was analyzed. The paper analyzes the
interaction of public structures with the adult population aimed at the
development of health care skills. The study highlights the training
methods and educational initiatives used by organizations to support
individuals in adopting a proactive attitude towards their health. Health
care competences acquired by the adult population in interaction with
public organizations are considered as an important element of selfdevelopment
and social adaptation of the adult population. The
identified positive aspects of the American experience can serve as a
basis for improving pedagogical strategies in the field of health care for
the adult population in Ukraine.
