MODELING OF THE RIPPER SURFACE SHAPE OF THE DIG-GING PLOW FOR FRUIT CROPS SEEDLINGS
Abstract
The results for defining the type of the guide surface of the digging plow ripperfor fruit crop seedling shave been given. The working body of the digging plow consists of the following structural elements: a separator, a ripper, guides, on the working surfaces of which there is a movement of a separate soil clamp with a seedling.
In the previous research it had been stated that the parameters of separated soil chuck moving with seedling precisely on the working surface of the active ripper significantly influence the value of traction resistance of the digging plow and, as a consequence, the energy intensity of the process of seedlings digging out. It has been proved that energy costs for the digging out the seedlings can be reduced by reducing the work on moving the soil chuck on the surface of the active ripper by determining the optimal parameters of its surface shape, which can be formed by a direct guide, convex and concave-convex. According to the defined guidelines, the analysis of the movement of the soil chuck has been carried out.
It is stated, that the movement of the soil chuck with the seedling is due to the moving force that arises as a reaction from the undisturbed soil massif during seedlings digging up. That’s why as the analysis criterion of the soil chuck movement it was taken the work itself for its moving along the active ripper surface.
It has been stated, that the smallest value of the work of the moving force on the movement of the soil chuck on the surface of the active ripper is reached when its surface is formed by a guide in the form of a convex curve. At the same time, the value of the work of the moving force is equal to 997 J, and the convex curve has the following parameters: angle of inclination to horizon αр,= 25º, radius of arc R = 2 m. The obtained values of the convex guide parameters are nominal, and their true values should be determined experimentally using the methods of mathematical planning of the experiment by the criterion of traction resistance.
