Features of sociocultural identity of the Ukrainian youth
Abstract
The paper analyzes identification preferences of the Ukrainian youth in the process of modernization of the Ukrainian society. Based on the results of sociological surveys there has been determined the features of socio-cultural identity of young people in conditions of real life, and social, national, political, moral identity in particular, which indicates a diversified involvement of a young man into society and a certain degree of his social maturity. The paper also characterizes the basic mechanism of socio-cultural identification, it also defines the main determinants of contemporary socio-cultural identity processes and spiritual and moral character of today's youth.
