Basic changes of education in ХХІ century (civilization aspect).

Abstract

The author considered a manifestation of global trends of social development, which make fundamental changes to the overall philosophy of education, pose new challenges and open new horizons of psychological and pedagogical search. The main challenges and contradictions of the XXI century are listed. There are determined the actual problems of education, upbringing, morality, culture, spirituality, socialization and so on. The existing international trends in education were characterized; the conclusion is drawn on the necessity to revise familiar for centuries and decades characteristics and established norms of educational activities.
