Civil organization as a condition for the development of social activity of teenagers
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of forming social competence of youth in the conditions of modern society, characterized by dynamic social changes. The role of public organizations in the development of effective communication skills, cooperation, responsible decision-making and civic engagement is defined. The theoretical aspects of the formation of social competence of youth, which highlight the role of public organizations in the development of civic consciousness, legal aspects of involving youth in public activities, as well as methods of active involvement of youth in social initiatives, are analyzed. The essence of the concepts "public organization", "civic consciousness", "social activity" is revealed. The functions of public organizations, types of public organizations aimed at working with teenagers (volunteer, environmental, cultural, educational), and the benefits of involving young people in their activities are defined. Modern mechanisms of involving young people in active participation in the life of the community, including the use of social networks, educational programs of civic education, youth councils and parliaments, international programs, are considered. Socio[1]pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective development of teenagers' activity in public organizations are defined. It is determined that public organizations play a key role in the development of social activity of teenagers, contributing to the formation of civic position, social skills and personal development. The importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, as well as the role of competent mentors in this process, is emphasized. Problems and challenges of cooperation between public organizations and youth, such as lack of information, lack of support and stereotypes, are identified. Ways to overcome these challenges, including the popularization of volunteering, cooperation between schools and public organizations, as well as support for youth initiatives, are proposed.
