Peculiarities of using art therapeutic technologies in working with the emotional state of “Resentment”
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the necessity of paying attention to the psycho-emotional state of resentment as a condition that affects all aspects of a person's life. The purpose of the article is to highlight the features of using and the impact of art therapy technologies in working with the emotional state of resentment. The article includes the analysis of the psychological prerequisites and factors that cause the emergence of resentment, as well as the peculiarities of its influence on a person's physical and mental health. The article discusses the specific manifestations of resentment in different age groups. It analyzes the results of a psychocorrectional training program aimed at addressing the emotional state of resentment using art therapy techniques and exercises. The article proposes a hypothesis that the impact and duration of the state of resentment depend on the level of emotional intelligence of the individual. A preventive approach to solving the problem of the “resentment” state is suggested. It involves the implementation of psychoeducational programs, combined with art therapy technologies, within the framework of public events and at the educational level as a means of fostering a positive trend in the development of emotional intelligence in individuals and society as a whole. The article suggests that the implementation of such programs will teach people to recognize and effectively manage resentment and other negative emotions, as well as to form a generation with a high level of self-reflection, empathy, stress resilience, and the ability to engage in healthy interpersonal interactions, which is an important step toward improving the psychological well-being of each individual, family, and society as a whole.
