The role of music therapy in the structure of modern health-protecting educational technologies
Abstract
The article reveals the structure of modern health-preserving
educational technologies and the role of musical art in them. Based
on the classification of functional features of health-preserving
technologies, the functions of musical art are considered. The
possibilities of introducing health-preserving technologies into
musical activity are substantiated. The author pays special attention
to the compensatory and background-therapeutic functions of
musical art (music therapy). It is analyzed and proven that musical
art is an integral part of health-preserving educational technologies,
since its principles, forms, methods and content are organically
combined with the concept of health-preserving, contribute to the
creation of a health-preserving environment in musical activity, and
ensure the harmonious development of the personality. Addressing
the concept of “pedagogical music therapy” and analyzing its
content allow us to find new approaches to the implementation of
health-preserving technologies in musical education.
