Abstract
The article analyzes the current state of future chemistry teachers' training
in the higher education system and identifies the main contradictions
between their preparation in higher education institutions and their future
pedagogical activities in general secondary schools. The key issues in the
preparation of future chemistry teachers in pedagogical higher education
institutions are highlighted. The main components of educational and
methodical support for the professional training of future chemistry
teachers in the context of Ukraine's education reforms are considered,
including theoretical approaches, modern methodological tools, practical
training, criteria for professional competence, and pedagogical conditions
for effective preparation. The relevance of updating the content and
methods of chemistry personnel training is substantiated in the context of
the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, the digitalization of education,
the transition to a competence-based model, and the necessity of forming
professional,
methodological, communicative,
competencies in higher education students.
