Abstract

The article analyzes the role of digital technologies in modern speech therapy practice and their influence on the effectiveness of correctional and developmental work with children who have speech disorders. The authors emphasize that digitalization of education has transformed the traditional approaches of speech therapists, providing new ways to individualize learning, enhance motivation, and ensure accessibility of correctional assistance regardless of geographical or social limitations. The study defines the key concepts of «digital technologies», «information and communication technologies», and «speech therapy work», highlighting their interrelation in the process of speech development and correction. Particular attention is paid to the advantages of computer programs, mobile applications, interactive boards, and online platforms, which contribute to the activation of visual and auditory perception and the integration of multisensory learning. The article also discusses gamification as an innovative tool that enhances children’s engagement through play-based elements such as rewards, levels, and competitions. Examples of the most effective digital resources are provided, including «Speech Blubs», «Articulation Station», «Gus on the Go», and Ukrainian-developed programs such as «Logomer» and «Zvukovychok». The authors underline the challenges of implementing digital technologies in speech therapy, including insufficient digital competence of specialists, limited technical resources in education institutions, and the risk of excessive screen exposure for children. The prospects of integrating artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and adaptive educational platforms are identified as promising directions for the further development of speech therapy. The article concludes that the successful digitalization of speech therapy requires a comprehensive approach, professional training of specialists, and the creation of national platforms with open access to specialized resources.
