Abstract

The article analyzes the modern Ukrainian names of localized Melitopol commercial enterprises on a significant factual material, examines the current state of studying ergonomics and analyzes the semantic motivation of this class of words. The basic thematic-motivational groups were revealed and the most common structural-semantic models of ergonomics were described, and the non-conformity of the spelling of the Melitopol names with literary norms was recorded.

The urgency of the study is due to a rapid increase, constant changes in the form and content of ergonomics due to the exit of enterprises beyond the boundaries of local markets and, accordingly, the urgent need for competent spelling of their own names of economic entities.

For the most part, the names of the Melitopol enterprises are one-component in structure, but there are two-component and three-component compounds represented by phrases and sentences.

The results obtained can be used in further research, in developing practical recommendations for business owners, advertisers.
