Informational-communication technologies and student self-realization in the teaching process.

Abstract

The paper emphasizes that informational-communicational technologies and the Internet network have become an instrument of social interaction of people in all spheres of life, and, in particular, they play an important role in the organization of educational activities in higher educational institutions.  There is a new problem: to investigate the influence of the effective applying of the up-to-date technologies in teaching students how to achieve self-realization process. The authors analyze and present a certain set of information and communication tools which, in the opinion of the authors, contribute to the process of self-realization during studying in higher educational institutions.

It is stressed that the implementing of ICT opportunities in education for developing general and professional students’ competencies will be possible only if the teaching process is carried out by the teacher who fully possess the skills of communication in the Internet network and shares the values of self-realization in various activities, including in the virtual world.
