Abstract

The article deals with certain issues of professional training of software engineers at leading universities in the UK, the United States of America, and Canada and. The comparative analysis of software engineering curricula at leading universities in the UK, the USA and Canada has been conducted. The common aspects in software engineering curricula and their distinctive peculiarities are highlighted. The necessity of research, adaptation and further introduction of the positive experience of the world universities into software engineering training of program engineers at the universities of Ukraine has been emphasized.
