The levels of social experience formedness in teenagers.
Abstract
The formed social experience defines the person's ability to interact in the social environment and, thus, his/her potential as citizen – the creator of his/her state. There are a lot of opportunities for this in the school area. The child as a social being has certain manifestations of his position in society. The systematization of these manifestations allows us to determine the level of formed social experience in a pupil.
The aim of the article is to define and theoretically substantiate the levels of formedness of social experience in teenagers.
If social experience is not enough, the person does not show his/her social position, does not determine his/her value orientations, moral and ethical ideals. The educational environment allows the person to make social knowledge, skills and abilities more organized, better understandable and comprehend them. When a teenager communicates with pupils and teachers, studies certain material from different disciplines, takes part in school activities, he/she involuntarily learns the norms and values that regulate his/her further life.
We have distinguished four criteria of formed social experience in teenagers: cognitive, value-orientation, communicative, active. Based on these criteria, we have identified three levels of formed social experience in teenagers: low, medium and high. Centered on certain criteria and indicators, we can argue that the high level of formed social experience is shown by teenagers who understand the peculiarities of the course of social phenomena. They are able to accept and follow social norms, aimed at assimilating positive values, have the ability to work in a group, try for realization of effective socially significant activity.
