Motivational aspect of music and performance training of the future teacher-musician

Abstract

The article highlights the specifics of the motivation of musical and performing
activities. The problem of increasing motivation in student self-development and
achieving high learning results has been updated. Attention is focused on taking into
account the individual characteristics of each student in connection with the different
level of pre-university training and on the importance of revealing the professional
potential of an individual for his further self-improvement. The components of musical
performance activity are defined. The direct connection of executive activity with
motivation is substantiated. The process of formation and development of positive
motivation is analyzed. The structure of the process of formation of motivation for
musical and performing activities is considered. The components of the complex of
pedagogical actions, which are able to ensure a positive attitude towards the
performing activities of the future teacher-musician, have been identified. The
importance of finding an appropriate ratio of external and internal motives of musical
activity in the process of performance preparation is indicated. Examples of the
positive effect of internal motivation on a person are given.
The mechanisms of stimulation of the internal and external motivation of the
individual are considered. The "flow state of consciousness" in educational activity is
singled out as the one that triggers the process of increasing motivation.
The role of the teacher in stimulating the positive motivation of future music teachers
to improve performance skills is emphasized. It has been proven that motivation is a
driving force in the professional development of a teacher-musician.
