Mercy as the main category in Christian ethics.
Abstract
The article highlights the essence of the concept of mercy as a fundamental category of Christian ethics. The origin of the idea of mercy in pedagogical heritage is revealed. The development of ideas of mercy up-bringing in classical and national pedagogical thought is examined. The state of teenagers’ mercy up-bringing at the present stage of development of pedagogy is analyzed and the article also outlines the prospects for creative ideas of progressive mercy up-bringing in today's environment.
