Аннотация

The article deals with the modern approaches to language
teaching. The aim of the article is to study the methodological
and psychological principles of organizing and using art and
game elements in a foreign language lesson and to develop
and substantiate a methodology for teaching English to
university
students based on art technologies and
gamification, aimed at developing their linguistic and
communicative creativity and ability to effectively interact with
international clients. The prerequisites and conditions for the
development of the art and game-based technologies as a
teaching method are considered. The analysis of existing
classifications of art and game-based methods as a means of
teaching a foreign language, as well as methods of motivating
students using these methods, is carried out. The main
provisions defining the role of the art and game-based
approaches in language teaching are proposed. The
conclusions are made according to the results of the research
and analysis that the game should be short, creative and
interesting for students to make them effectively communicate
in foreign language with international guests.
