Adaptation of future elementary school teachers to learning at a higher education institution.

Abstract

The authors diagnosed adaptation of the future teachers of elementary schoolfor training in a college and university. The article describes the availability of these features in the process of adaptation as both college and university students. The most successful is the social adaptation of students to academic and teaching staff. This is important because current students as future elementaryschool teachers will work in school groups that are dynamically changing. There are some didactic difficulties in teaching first-year college and university students (innovation in learning, new forms and methods of learning, ability to learn independently, etc.) and problems caused by the new conditions of student life (unusual mode of life, driving their own budgets, etc.). In the second year the quantity of such students decreases, so the adaptation of students to educational activity improves.
