Psycho-pedagogical peculiarities of training the people of venerable age.

Abstract

The article introduces the basic concepts of training the people of venerable age. The main age periodization have been analyzed. The age periods of venerable age have been selected. The main psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of training the people of venerable age have been identified. It was found out that the leading feature is the understanding of the old age at all levels as the important status of the person, taking into account his/her wisdom, experience and expertise in the educational process. The author attempted to reveal the possibilities for the people of venerable age to be involved in the labout market, social integration, volunteer activity etc. Attention is given to peculiarities of eldrely people's training which forms the focus to realize the life strategy for active longevity.
