Location and the role of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society in the professional development of young people in the Czech-Slovak republic of the interwar period.
Abstract
The article analyzes the cultural and
educational aspect of the functioning of the
Ukrainian Pedagogical Society (UPS) as a
professional-scientific organization of
Ukrainian emigration in the Czech-Slovak
republic during the interwar period. It was
emphasized on the formation and
functioning of the UPS, which would satisfy
professional, national, cultural, socioeconomic
interests in the multicultural and
foreign-oriented environment. It was
clarified that the cultural and educational
activities of the members of the CPT
included the creation and management of
professional courses for the training of
qualified teachers, enhancement of the
competitiveness of Ukrainian emigrants in
the Czechoslovak educational labor market
and Ukrainian ethnic territories; publishing
activity; organization and participation in
cultural events.
