The issue of training of future IT specialists of databases in Ukrainian and foreign researches

Abstract

An important component of the professional training of IT specialists in the field of knowledge 12 Information technologies in institutions of higher education is the formation of competence in the field of design, development and use of databases. The formation of this competence in the process of training IT specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine is characterized by a number of problems, in particular: the theoretical material is often quite difficult for students, due to the significant volume and the need to operate with abstract concepts; the implementation of practical tasks, close to real industrial projects, requires time and teamwork, as well as the willingness and ability to explore different subject areas; Currently, the IT industry uses various models of data storage and database management systems, and therefore the problem of reasonable selection of training content arises. Ukrainian and foreign researchers have gained significant experience in training future IT database specialists, which is presented in numerous publications. The results presented in these and other works can be fully or partially adapted to the conditions of various institutions of higher education in Ukraine, but the task of finding ways to improve the educational process, taking into account the changes taking place in the industry and the conditions of specific higher education institutions, in particular displaced, which work only in remote mode. The article presents the results of the analysis of the training experience of future IT database specialists, accumulated in Ukrainian and foreign institutions of higher education. Our further research is aimed at forming an end-to-end content line of database training for future bachelors in computer science.
