Autonomization as a form of management of an institution of additional education: setting a pedagogical problem
Abstract
In the article, the author notes that over
the past decade, reforms have been
carried out in our country related to
democratization, globalization, and
digitalization. However, despite the
implementation of reforms, the
management system of institutions of
additional education, in particular, its
movement towards autonomization
remains unclear. It has been proved that
most of the studies concerning the
phenomenon of autonomization are
concentrated on the management
processes of higher education, although
this phenomenon should be ahead of the
curve in the entire education system.
The need for autonomization of additional
educational institutions is indisputable,
because today our country, focusing on
the best world practices of lifelong
learning, with the help of non-formal /
additional education is involved in
innovative processes associated with the
new philosophy of post-formal education.
Using the example of various studies, the
author shows that the implementation of
the best teaching practices in combination
with the reliance on the principles of
adherence to the quality of education
gives different results that require
reflection.
The author reveals the problem from three
sides - political, economic, pedagogical,
and focuses on the need to introduce
reforming the management of additional
educational institutions in accordance with
the socio-economic requirements of
society, relying on the possibility of
achieving the goals of teaching in a
reasonable society.
