AUTOMATION OF PROCESS OF DETERMINING GEOMETRICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE METAL STRUCTURE FROM THEIR COLOR IMAGES

Abstract

In this paper we propose an algorithm of the automated analysis of color images microsections metal structures and determining their geometrical and quantitative characteristics by combining the method of color image segmentation and the method of building regions.
